Maintenance Head Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Head to oversee all maintenance functions, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and civil systems. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in industrial maintenance and be proficient in leading teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Planning:

      The Maintenance Head will develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and utilities, ensuring maximum uptime and minimizing downtime.

    • Breakdown Response:

      The candidate will lead timely responses to breakdowns or unplanned failures with root cause analysis, utilizing their expertise to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

    • Team Leadership:

      The Maintenance Head will lead and mentor a team of technicians, electricians, and maintenance engineers, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring skill development through SOPs and training.

    • Compliance and Safety:

      The candidate will ensure compliance with electrical, mechanical, and fire safety standards, maintaining documentation of maintenance logs, service records, permits, and audits.

    • Process Improvement:

      The Maintenance Head will implement TPM, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives across maintenance functions, recommending and executing equipment upgrades and refurbishments for long-term efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    At least 15 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in furniture, manufacturing, engineering, or similar sectors.

  • Education:

    Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Skills:

    Strong hands-on knowledge of woodworking machinery (CNC routers, edge banders, sanding lines, etc.), electrical panels, PLC-based systems, and utilities.

  • Leadership:

    Proven leadership and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
