Job Title: Oracle BRM Developer


Job Summary: Lorven Technologies is looking for an experienced Oracle BRM Developer to lead the design and implementation of Telecom Billing and Charging Solutions.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Analyze, design, develop, customize, and enhance the Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) with ECE
  • Expertise in ECE online/offline rating with good customization skills
  • Extensive debugging and monitoring skills in ECE
  • Hands-on experience on OCOMC Customization and cartridge development
  • Hands-on experience on Pricing configuration from PDC
  • Experience in developing custom FM and opcodes DM (data manager) EM (External Manager)
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery concepts and SAFe in particular
  • Good working knowledge in defining, documenting, and communicating the system architecture for the project scope
  • Hands-on experience on C/C++ and Oracle PLSQL
  • Good hands-on experience working Cloud Native Platforms using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, serverless functions, APIs, and Kafka
  • Demonstrated experience and comfort with project delivery and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, Teams, etc.
  • Good hands-on configuration management tools and using the latest devops (BitBucket, GIT, etc.)
  • Experience in project management, independently handling and owning projects involving multiple teams
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating and steering multiple teams
  • Relevant (active < 3 years old) certifications as solution expert architect, etc. from Billing and Charging product vendors Oracle BRM certification (Optional/Added Advantage)
  • Should have good BRM/ECE/OCOMC upgrade experience
  • Should have very good understanding of HA/DR architectures
  • Experience of working with distributed global teams (On-site/nearshore/offshore) and comfortable with multinational/multi-cultural backgrounds/mixed teams
  • Expert knowledge in CI/CD (design, development, testing, test automation, and performance test)
  • Should have hands-on experience on Shell scripting, Perl, and Java
  • Responsible for installations, migrations, product demonstrations, and present solutions in documents and workshops
  • Good communication skills

Requirements:



  • 10+ years of experience in Telecom service providers (directly or as consultant from SI's product vendors) specializing in designing and implementing Telecom Billing and Charging Solutions using Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) Pricing Design Center (PDC) ECE (Elastic Charging Engine)
  • Strong knowledge of BRM/ECE architecture, OCOMC, and cartridges
  • Expertise in ECE online/offline rating with good customization skills
  • Good understanding of agile delivery concepts and SAFe in particular
  • Good working knowledge in defining, documenting, and communicating the system architecture for the project scope
