Oracle PBCS Expert

Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Oracle PBCS Expert. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in implementing and managing Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) solutions.

  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience in implementing and configuring Oracle Hyperion Planning and Budgeting applications, including E/PBCS.
  • Successful implementation of at least 6 end-to-end projects, with a strong focus on solution build and project leadership.
  • Technical expertise in application creation, metadata build, planning form development, validation, business rules, integration, workflow, and security configuration.
  • Functional understanding of the planning, budgeting, and forecasting process.
  • Strong knowledge of data management, FDMEE, ODI, and other source/target systems integration capabilities.
  • Ability to create comprehensive project documents, such as test scripts, integration configuration documents, and user manuals.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools.
  • Confident and assertive individual with excellent presentation skills.
  • Willingsness to travel for long or short periods based on project requirements, potentially to GCC countries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of additional EPM modules, such as Profitability and Cost Management, Account Reconciliation, would be an added advantage.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading solution builds, guiding project teams, and ensuring successful project delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing Oracle PBCS solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Leading cross-functional project teams to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
