We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Hydraulic Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, specifically in hydraulics and water resources engineering.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing and preparing drawings for irrigation infrastructure such as dams, barrages, micro-irrigation systems, canal networks and related hydraulic structures. This is a challenging role that requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar hydraulic modelling tools.

\Key Responsibilities:\

  • Design hydraulic structures such as dams, barrages, weirs, spillways and intake systems using standard engineering codes and software.\
  • Develop micro-irrigation system layouts, pipe network designs and hydraulic profiles for efficient water distribution.\
  • Prepare hydraulic modelling, flow calculations and hydraulic grade line diagrams for irrigation and water management projects.\
  • Develop detailed drawings, BOQs and technical specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D or equivalent design tools.\
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including survey, GIS and geotechnical teams for integrated designs.\
  • Support the preparation of DPRs (Detailed Project Reports).\
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits and review discussions with stakeholders.\
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the design and drawing of dams, barrages, canals, micro-irrigation systems and related structures.\
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, irrigation techniques, flow analysis and pipe hydraulics.\
  • Familiarity with WRD, CWC, Govt Guidelines and state irrigation department practices.\
  • Excellent technical documentation, report writing and communication skills.\
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.\
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water gem or similar hydraulic modelling tools.\
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, with specialization in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering.\
