Principal Statistician

The Senior Biostatistician will oversee a team of biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers to ensure successful clinical research study execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team to guarantee clinical research studies are executed successfully.
• Provide expert statistical consultation across the company, ensuring sound methodologies are adopted.
• Solve complex statistical problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Lead technical reviews of proposed statistical designs for research studies, guaranteeing scientific integrity.
• Drive multiple study projects as lead biostatistician, delivering high-quality results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve statistical processes.
• Present at conferences and share knowledge to advance the field of biostatistics.
• Offer strategic, scientific, and statistical input to support clients' research projects, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
• Develop and implement study analysis plans, statistical programs, and data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with current statistical and medical literature to inform methodology and practice.
• Foster innovation in biostatistics, exploring new techniques and technologies to enhance expertise.

To be successful, you will need:

• A Master's or Ph.D. in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in biostatistical research, including publication and presentation of work.
• Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R, with expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex statistical concepts, both written and oral.
