Senior Frontend Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our growing development team. As a key member of the team, you will design and build high-performance, scalable, and responsive web applications working closely with backend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in frontend development, proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React framework, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Develop and maintain complete user interface (GUI) using JavaScript/TypeScript and React ecosystem including interactive user forms, data listings, filters, and UI components.
  • Integrate frontend components into Liferay CE 7.4.x platform.
  • Connect frontend to our services via REST API clients, integrating well-documented APIs to enable seamless integration with backend systems.
  • Collaborate with backend team to ensure smooth user experience.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code conducting code reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. 5-8 years hands-on experience in frontend development.
  2. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React framework.
  3. Experience with REST APIs and understanding OpenAPI specifications with added advantage of GraphQL knowledge.
  4. Working knowledge of GitOps managing infrastructure changes via pull requests.
  5. Daily use of Docker for local development with docker compose.
  6. Familiarity with Kubernetes from a user perspective.
  7. Ability to read and understand Jenkins pipelines.
  8. Basic understanding of OpenSearch (Elasticsearch) is a plus querying data and troubleshooting errors via GUI.
  9. Experience with Liferay CE 7.4.x and Java is a major advantage.
  10. Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
