Overview of the Job:

We are looking for an experienced professional to take the lead in device development for Meter Dose Inhaler dosage form. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with device manufacturers, conducting design verification, and ensuring compliance with user requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical devices and relevant experience in drug delivery devices. They should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

The role involves developing test methods and fixtures, conducting relevant testing and validation, and working on in-silico clinical simulations related to patient safety, efficacy, and clinical outcomes. Additionally, the candidate will support commercial product development for MDI portfolio and new product development for injectable delivery devices.

Responsibilities:
  • Device Development: Lead the development of Metered Dose Inhaler Dosage form from device selection to regulatory submissions and commercial support
  • Support Development: Support the development of injectable drug-device combination products, custom design, and design troubleshooting of delivery devices
  • Lab Experiments: Conduct lab experiments to validate simulation results, build in-vitro setups, and test various design iterations
Requirements:
  • Experience: 12 years of experience in medical device characterization or drug delivery devices in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Qualifications: Engineering degree (Mechanical preferable), knowledge in medical devices, CFD & other simulation tools
  • Skills: Test Method development & validation, Primary container closures system, and regulatory expectations
