Senior Citrix Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of high-performance Citrix solutions, covering XenApp, XenDesktop, and Netscaler.
  • Develop strategic technical designs addressing scalability, disaster recovery, and availability requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Provide expert technical guidance for advanced Citrix infrastructure management.
  • Ensure seamless SLA compliance for Citrix environment performance and uptime through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Implement, troubleshoot, and optimize Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops and Hypervisors (XenServer) for maximum efficiency.
  • Enhance performance and stability of Citrix infrastructure through data-driven decision making and analytics.
  • Manage Citrix ADC, Gateway, SD-WAN, Web App Firewall, and Application Delivery Management with precision and expertise.
  • Perform critical upgrades, patch management, and infrastructure improvements to maintain peak system performance.
  • Align all Citrix administration activities with industry best practices and standards.
  • Address escalations, change controls, incident, and problem resolution through swift and effective action.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent future occurrences.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and SOPs to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Citrix technologies, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Netscaler.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale Citrix infrastructures.
  • Strong understanding of scalability, disaster recovery, and availability principles.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
