About the Role:

We are seeking a Product Development Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of leather products from design to delivery. This role involves ensuring timely and cost-effective production while maintaining quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage order flow, from initial inquiries to final shipment.
  • Procure materials, components, and accessories efficiently.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure efficient production, monitor progress, and address any issues.
  • Maintain effective communication with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Keep accurate records of orders, materials, production processes, and shipping details.
  • Contribute to product development, including material sourcing, costing, and sampling.
  • Optimize inventory levels, minimize waste, and improve stock turnover.
  • Develop merchandise plans, including sales forecasting and budgeting.
  • Nurture strong relationships with buyers and channel partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and relationship-building.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with different types of leather, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices.
