About the Opportunity
We're looking for a seasoned professional to join our QA team as a Senior Software Tester. This role involves executing testing activities for all applications under our technology platform.
You will be responsible for understanding business needs and analysing requirements to carry out different testing activities. Collaborate with developers and BA's to understand new features, bug fixes, and changes in the codebase. Create and execute functional as well as automated test cases on different test environments to validate functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out thorough analysis of user stories and requirements to design comprehensive testing strategies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritise and resolve defects efficiently.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python stack.
- Document test cases, results, and any issues encountered during testing.
- Stay updated with new tools, techniques, and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a senior software tester.
- Hands-on experience in automating web and backend automation using open source tools (Playwright, Pytest, Selenium, Request, Rest Assured, NumPy, Pandas).
- Proficiency in writing complex database queries in various databases (Oracle, Snowflake).
- Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automating deployment and testing workflows.
