About the Job:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Footwear Design Assistant to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for footwear design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • As a Footwear Design Assistant, you will assist in developing innovative footwear concepts and designs, conduct market research and analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and launches.
  • You will also manage sample production, vendor relationships, and supply chain logistics, and create engaging product content for social media and marketing campaigns.
  • In addition, you will provide support in the day-to-day operations of the footwear department, including photoshoots, merchandising displays, and social media/product content when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative footwear concepts and designs that meet our brand's aesthetic and quality standards.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the footwear industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product development, and marketing, to drive product development and launches.
  • Manage sample production, vendor relationships, and supply chain logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Create engaging product content for social media and marketing campaigns to showcase our brand's personality and style.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of footwear design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
