**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Java Production Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our production systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Solve critical customer/field technical escalations using technical and analytical skills.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer-reported problems.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to update the development team about ongoing escalations and their statuses.
  • Own highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
  • Build tools and techniques to facilitate root cause analysis using available data and code base insights.
  • Reduce time to resolve product issues by fixing them as needed after RCA.
  • Provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to improve overall customer satisfaction.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6+ years' experience in technical product support type roles, preferably in escalation teams.
  • Experience working as an L3 escalation engineer handling complex customer issues.
  • Software development experience using Java technologies.
  • Good understanding and working experience of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Good understanding and working experience of Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issues.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in scripting, Splunk, network troubleshooting, REST API troubleshooting, and query databases.
