Cisco Unified Communications Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco Unified Communications solutions. Requires expertise in IP Telephony (IPT) and Jabber, as well as experience with enterprise voice and video infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Cisco Unified Communications solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex IPT and Jabber issues.
- Manage and optimize enterprise voice and video infrastructure.
- Perform upgrades, migrations, and patch management for Cisco collaboration platforms.
- Integrate collaboration solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Provide L3 support for escalated issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions.
- Maintain documentation and provide technical training.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in Cisco Collaboration technologies: CUCM, CUCX, Cisco Unity Connection, Jabber.
- Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP, H.323, MGCP, RTP, and QoS.
- Hands-on experience with IPT deployments, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Proficiency in integrating Cisco voice and video solutions.
- Experience in Cisco gateways (ISR, VG) and SBCs.
- Familiarity with networking protocols, firewalls, and security policies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Cisco certifications preferred (CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration is a plus).
