We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths teacher to join our school in Vijayawada. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons to students, developing curriculum materials, and assessing student progress. You will also contribute to the development of TOK in the subject area.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Maths lessons to students according to curriculum guidelines and school requirements
- Develop and present lesson plans using various teaching models and techniques
- Observe, monitor, and assess student progress
- Prepare assignments and tests for in-school assessment and homework
- Maintain good disciplinary order and child safety standards in classrooms, on school campus, and while on bus and vigilance duties
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in teaching Maths, preferably with experience in IB MYP and DP curricula
- Postgraduate degree in Education or a related field preferred
- Strong communication skills to have a positive impact on others
- Culturally aware and respectful of differences
