Chinese Language Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Chinese Language Specialist to facilitate communication between technical and business teams. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin (reading, writing, speaking) and English, with some exposure to software development concepts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Chinese language expertise (Mandarin) for translation, interpretation, and review of technical/business documents.
  • Support collaboration between software developers and business stakeholders.
  • Assist in requirement gathering, documentation, and validation activities in Chinese and English.
  • Offer insights into local context and nuances to ensure accuracy in deliverables.
  • If technically capable, assist in reviewing technical documents or specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) and proficient in English.
  • Prior experience in translation, business analysis, or support roles.
  • Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), tools, or IT projects is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Availability during morning IST hours on weekdays.
