About the Role:

As a skilled Hydrographic Survey Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting detailed bathymetric surveys and analyzing survey data to support port and marine infrastructure projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct accurate depth measurements and sub-bottom profiling using advanced hydrographic survey equipment.
  • Plan and execute hydrographic survey work to ensure high-quality data collection for design and construction of marine infrastructure.
  • Analyze and interpret survey data, generating reports, maps, and charts for project stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, environmental specialists, and project managers to integrate survey data into port development plans.
  • Evaluate and improve survey methods to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in hydrographic surveying, preferably in port and coastal infrastructure projects.
  • Survey Recorder Class I or Class II qualification is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of hydrographic software, including CARIS, HYPACK, and GIS.
  • Proficiency in multibeam sonar, single-beam echo sounders, and other specialized survey equipment.
  • Solid understanding of marine environments, including tidal variations, water depths, and seabed topography.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills to produce clear and concise reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
