Job Title : ESG Architect - Compliance Specialist

The role of a ESG Architect involves driving strategic technology initiatives to enhance our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance.

This position demands an experienced architect with a strong background in at least two areas: Business Architecture and Technology Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and drive application and infrastructure architecture for assigned ESG areas
  • Ensure alignment of architecture across sub-domains and the broader technology landscape
  • Develop long-term architecture roadmaps and manage co-existence with legacy systems
  • Define digital product boundaries and determine optimal placement of capabilities within the landscape
  • Specify enterprise data objects in canonical format and ensure alignment with the INGKA Total Data Model
  • Define and manage information flow across digital products, legacy systems, and domains
  • Resolve architecture challenges during significant landscape transformations
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience, including 3-5 years in Enterprise Architecture leadership
  • Demonstrated experience in CSRD or ESG-related reporting projects, ideally spanning Business Architecture, IT Application, and Technology Architecture
  • Strong experience working in global organizations, preferably in the retail, consumer packaged goods, or manufacturing industries
  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, reporting/analytics, and retail tech ecosystems
  • Familiarity with legacy coexistence and integration of third-party platforms (e.g., SAP)
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at both technical and strategic levels
