Data Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team.

  • Develop and maintain large-scale data processing systems using Python and PySpark.
  • Design and implement scalable data architectures to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into business applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of overall IT experience, including hands-on experience in Big Data technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in Python, PySpark, AWS, Amazon EMR, Amazon Athena, AWS Glue, Amazon Lambda, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, and other relevant tools.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensions, facts, schemas, snowflake, and star.
  • Experience with columnar storage formats, such as Parquet, Avro, and ORC, and compression techniques, like Snappy and Gzip.
  • Knowledge of AWS databases, including Aurora, RDS, Redshift, ElastiCache, and DynamoDB.
