Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Key Accounts Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the organization's sales plan for the Retail business division by meeting annual customer acquisition and revenue targets.
You will conduct research to identify customer needs, new markets, and distribution partners. You will also identify emerging markets and market shifts while staying up-to-date on new products and competition status.
You will execute the organization's sales strategy with equal focus on topline, profitability, brand equity, and customer satisfaction. This includes conducting business meetings with prospective customers and distribution partners, promoting our products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives, and building long-term relationships with new and existing customers/distribution partners.
You will negotiate terms of agreement including commission structures with prospective distribution partners, prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to organizational policies and guidelines, and keep records and provide regular updates to management on sales, revenue, agreements, team productivity, etc.
You will also provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support, develop and train entry-level staff into valuable salespeople, and design contest/incentive programs for the sales team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
- Good Communication Skills are essential to liaise with various departments.
- Insurance industry knowledge.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
