Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust data pipeline architecture that meets the company's business requirements. This includes creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture, assembling large and complex data sets, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
  • Assemble large and complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
  • Identify and design internal process improvements, including automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery
  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using SQL and cloud technologies
  • Develop analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics
  • Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in the company's data systems
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools, such as Apache Airflow, NiFi, and Talend
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Clickhouse, Postgres, and MySQL
  • Experience with stream-processing systems, such as Storm, Spark-Streaming, and Kafka
  • Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages, such as Python and Scala
