Senior Animation Specialist

The role of a Senior Animation Specialist involves bringing to life captivating animations that enhance the player experience, retention, and excitement in our next generation of casino slot games.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in After Effects and Spine, strong attention to detail, and an understanding of player psychology. The ideal candidate will work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to create high-quality 2D animations that meet performance requirements and fit seamlessly into the game environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce high-quality 2D animations for casino slot games, including reel spins, symbol win effects, free spins, jackpot animations, bonus features, transitions, and cinematic sequences.
  • Animate characters, symbols, and UI elements using Spine for real-time deployment and create cinematic and VFX sequences using After Effects for polished visuals.
  • Collaborate with artists, game designers, and developers to ensure animations meet performance requirements and fit within the game environment.
  • Mentor junior animators and help define animation standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with animation trends in gaming and continuously push creative boundaries.

Required Skills:

  • After Effects (advanced motion graphics, compositing, particle systems, expressions).
  • Spine (skeleton rigging, mesh deformation, weights, IK constraints, runtime optimization).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Animation, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or related field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work preferably in casino slots or casual games.
