Job Opportunity: Financial Planning and Analysis Expert

Hiring for candidates with extensive experience in financial planning & analysis. This is a great opportunity to be part of an FP&A team for a global client's FP&A process at HCL.

We are looking for professionals with expertise in independent end-to-end month-end closing and reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and advanced Excel, Power Point knowledge.

  • The ideal candidate should have at least 3-12 years of working experience in accounting roles.
  • Must have some experience in producing monthly reports including key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

The selected candidate will work as an individual contributor role. Strong business acumen, accounting skills, a go-getter attitude, and out-of-the-box thinking are required. Analyze & evaluate financial data and create financial models for decision support.

This position involves:

  • Producing monthly reports including key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
  • Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Analyzing past results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Preparing ad-hoc financial/management reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information from various sub-systems.

A strong understanding of financial data and business acumen is essential for this role. Additionally, the candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in hospitality/entertainment industry can be an added advantage.
