A highly skilled Storage Network Specialist is required to design, implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with Ceph, ZFS and NFS storage technologies, as well as a strong understanding of distributed storage systems, container orchestration and monitoring tools like Prometheus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and maintain highly available, scalable storage and container orchestration systems across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking and container orchestration systems, ensuring seamless collaboration with development and SRE teams.
  • Implement monitoring, logging and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus.
  • Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures and best practices to ensure reliability and scalability.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Proficient with Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration, including solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning.
  • Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking and cluster lifecycle management.
  • Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm etc. and cloud providers (AWS, GCP or Azure).
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.
  • Certifications such as CKA, CKAD or RHCSA are a plus.

This role involves working with customer engineering teams on a wide variety of cloud projects, including migration, containerization and transformation initiatives. Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI, ITAR etc.) is beneficial.

The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic team designing, automating and deploying cloud-based services, where they can apply their skills and expertise to constantly evolving problems.
