The Society for Applied Studies (SAS) invites applications from young professionals building a career in public health for the position of Early Career Researcher under the Platform for Research Excellence Related to National Aims (PRERNA).

PRERNA aims to promote innovative and impactful research and develop a model for accelerating progress in implementation of high-quality research in public health.

">Key Responsibilities:">

  • Training in advanced research methods, epidemiology, statistics, and modelling">
  • Development of research proposals and implementation of research activities">
  • Participation in curated scientific workshops and symposia">
  • Data analysis">
  • Scientific communication">
  • Possibility for enrollment in Ph D programs at partnering institutions (based on performance and proficiency in required skills)">

Candidates must have any of the following qualifications:

  • MBBS or above (MD (any branch of medicine)) or Masters or higher in infectious diseases, molecular biology, disease modelling, or related fields">
