Roles and Responsibilities:

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Build innovative, state-of-the-art web applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
  • Evaluate and ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
  • Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
  • Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.
  • Lead the entire web application development life cycle from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
  • Refactor, optimize, and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale.
  • Interface with customer and internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, along with technical and process issues.
  • Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
  • Coordinate with co-developers and keep the project manager well-informed of the status of development efforts and serve as liaison between development staff and project manager.
  • Stay up-to-date with new trends and best practices in web development.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • 3-8 years of hands-on experience in core PHP.
  • Hands-on experience in full-stack development.
  • Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts.
  • Familiarity with Ajax concepts is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax, and RESTful API (any framework).
  • Good knowledge of relational databases like MySQL.
  • Leadership experience in creating, deploying, and iterating excellent software.
  • Extensive problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with DevOps would be an advantage.
  • Experience with SaaS implementation would be an advantage.
  • Able to estimate with limited information by guesstimating based on logical reasoning and assumptions.
  • Able to clearly state the assumptions for the estimate.
  • Strong understanding of technology across stacks.
  • Ability to research potential products/technologies for proposed solutions.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence would be an advantage.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
