You'll work closely with writers, editors, and content managers to refine and elevate the content we publish, utilizing your strong command of the English language and understanding of American culture.

This position requires leadership skills to inspire and mentor a team of talented writers, while also possessing basic knowledge of SEO principles to craft engaging headings and subheadings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Edit and publish high-quality articles daily, meeting EssentiallySports standards.
  • Fine-tune content after publication to enhance its impact and relevance.
  • Collaborate with the content quality (CQ) team to constantly refine and elevate published content.
  • Mentor writers to grow and evolve as contributors to the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with breaking news, ensuring timely delivery of content to our audience.
  • Align with a schedule that meets the needs of our US audience, working six days a week.
