About Us

We're seeking a highly skilled automated test engineer to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.

Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories.

Execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage.

Create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation.

Identify and maintain reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.

Contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets.

Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently.

Follow automation best practices and participate in peer reviews.

Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).

Support manual testing efforts when required, including test planning, execution, and reporting.

Track and report QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity.

Required Skills & Experience:

1-3 years of experience in functional and automation testing.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects.

Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright or JavaScript based frameworks such as Cypress/ Selenium.

Hands on experience in Programming based Test Automation toolset and should be part of Test Design for minimum of 2 Years.

Hands on Experience in working with Git Repository.

Independently handle Test Code issue resolution, updates & Debugging.

Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as JIRA, or equivalent.

Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards.

Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Knowledge on CI / CD

Knowledge of API & API testing tools like Karate, Postman or RestAssured.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing.

Experience in improving test coverage and test strategy.
