About this role:

We are seeking a seasoned data architect to design and implement large-scale business intelligence systems.

This position involves working closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and data modelers to develop business-intelligence solutions that meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex BI projects aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain BI datasets, reports, and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.
  • Design and manage scalable BI data models for compliance and performance.
  • Optimize reports and dashboards for large environments.
  • Integrate BI solutions with ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion, DBT, Talend, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Implement DevOps practices for version control and deployments using Git/Bitbucket.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including metadata, lineage, and user guides.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in BI development, including 3+ years in a senior lead role.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI (required) and additional tools like Tableau.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Snowflake.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling principles, including dimensional, Data Vault, and semantic layers.
  • Experience in BI governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake features, including streams, tasks, and dynamic tables.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Analytics, or a related field.
