Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

This role involves designing, deploying and maintaining cloud-based network infrastructure using leading technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision and maintain network systems such as Palo Alto Firewalls and F5 Load Balancers.
- Ensure a strong understanding of LAN, WAN, VPNs, VPC/VNETs and protocols like TCP/IP, UDP and IPSEC.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Use tools like Wireshark and firewall logs for analysis.
- Create and maintain operational documentation for issue resolution and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of networking experience and hands-on work with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
- Degree level educated in IT, science, maths or engineering areas.
- Network certification with Palo Alto and AWS CCP or Azure Foundation certification at a minimum.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with DDoS solutions and CLI tools for network appliances.
- Prior work in Life Sciences or other regulated industries.
Education/Certification:
- Must have relevant degree and certifications listed above.
Additional Notes:
The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in networking principles, cloud computing and infrastructure management.
The selected candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based network architectures.
