Student Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Student Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support services, you will play a vital role in promoting the emotional well-being and mental health of students.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively with students, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

You will work closely with our team to provide overnight mental health support, conduct counseling sessions, and facilitate walk-in sessions and student appointments through our online portal.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing overnight mental health support on a rotational basis
  • Conducting in-person counseling sessions in student hostels
  • Facilitating walk-in sessions and managing student appointments through our online portal

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology
  • 1-8 years experience in working with youth/academic mental health or strong interest
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with students empathetically
  • Comfortable with flexible working hours, including night shifts
  • Fluent in English and Hindi (knowledge of Bengali is a plus)
