Technical Accounting Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key advisor to our global finance team, you will be responsible for driving technical accounting excellence across various complex areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead technical accounting research on complex topics including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and business combinations.
  2. Draft and maintain robust technical accounting memos, policy documents, and process guidance.
  3. Provide accounting leadership for business transactions, including M&A due diligence and post-deal integration.
  4. Support external audit requests and drive resolution of accounting issues.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, FP&A, and Business Operations to assess accounting implications of contracts and strategic decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA (U.S.) certification.
  • 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with a combination of Big 4/public accounting and corporate technical accounting roles.
  • Strong command of U.S. GAAP exposure to international standards IFRS a plus.
