Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) analysis, with expertise in PCBA and PCB fabrication processes.

  • Conduct DFM analysis on PCBA and fabrications to identify potential manufacturing issues.
  • Perform DFT analysis to ensure testability of electronic products and generate reports accordingly.
  • Develop and implement DFx procedures and checklists as per customer requirements.

In collaboration with the internal manufacturing team and customers, define DFx requirements and rules to ensure adherence to targets set for process metrics.

Prepare and circulate DFx reports to stakeholders in a timely manner. Mentor and train team members on relevant software and tools, ensuring effective deliverables.

Skilled in PCBA processes, including stencil printing, solder paste application, SMT, wave-soldering, assembly, and box build.

Excellent knowledge of IPC standards and experience with DFx tools such as Vayopro, Valor NPI, and Solidworks is essential.

Aptitude to work with a multi-functional team, defining requirements and suitable metrics for new product and process performance.

Minimum 4-7 years' experience in DFx methodologies, PCBA DFM process, DFT and DFA analysis is required.

Bachelor's degree in Electronics or equivalent experience is necessary.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical thinking, coaching, and mentoring abilities are mandatory.
