Role: Data Integration Specialist

Work Arrangement: Remote

Work Schedule:

The successful candidate will be required to work in shifts (APAC, IST, UK) to support global operations.

A key responsibility of the position is to ensure timely data loads and reconciliations during month-end activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter / IICS.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from diverse sources including flat files, Oracle DB, Salesforce, SAP (RFC/BAPI/OS integration), and others.
  • Execute file validation scripts, encryption/decryption, file creation, and secure transfers.
  • Support daily feeds including DDF, CDS, FAME, and others across multiple geographies (Japan, UK, France, New Zealand).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL job failures, system performance, and process bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support inflight projects (e.g., new company code inclusion in CMS, UAT upgrades, WC mapping discussions).
  • Provide operational support for critical activities such as month-end, upgrades, and releases.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–7 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter / IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services)
  • Strong expertise in ETL design, development, and performance tuning
  • Hands-on experience integrating with SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, and file-based systems
  • Familiarity with file encryption/decryption tools and secure data transfer protocols
  • Experience handling large-scale data (300GB DB, 350–400 files daily, 300+ interfaces)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for job failures, connection issues, and performance bottlenecks
  • Exposure to automation of validation processes, service restarts, and operational scripts
  • Experience working in multi-shift support models (APAC, IST, UK) and global team environments
  • Good understanding of data quality, cleansing, and transformation best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Informatica upgrades and migration projects
  • Familiarity with legacy systems (e.g., FAME, MAGIC, Medea)
  • Knowledge of cloud integration (IICS, API integrations)
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with business/IT teams across regions
