Delta Air Lines, the U.S. global airline leader in safety, innovation, reliability and customer experience, seeks a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Programs Specialist to join our team at the Delta Technology Hub.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all required tasks and procedures are properly scheduled and available to the maintenance organization. This includes analyzing post-maintenance event data to ensure the desired results of program changes are achieved and effective decision-making processes require a strategic and tactical understanding of how different organizations within Tech Ops work together in a maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all new FAR maintenance program requirements are incorporated into the approved program.
  • Analyzes post-maintenance event data to understand task effectiveness and optimize intervals.
  • Develops new product trends and monitoring capabilities to ensure tasks performed are effective and have the desired outcome.
  • Solves for when and how tasks are performed to ensure Delta's fleet is safe, reliable and compliant.

Required Skills / Must Have

  • Engineering Degree (aerospace or mechanical preferred) or Airframe and Powerplant license with a minimum of three years aircraft maintenance experience.
  • 4-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical knowledge of the aircraft, understanding of aircraft manuals technical instructions, production processes and regulatory maintenance program requirements.
  • Knowledge of how to maintain and develop OEM qualifications of aircraft.
  • Experience leveraging FEA Analysis to evaluate fleet, substantiate data and recommendations to drive solutions.

Good to Have

  • Technical writing experience preferred.
