Job Opportunity

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Simulations and OTS Design Engineer to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will have expertise in developing process simulations using tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, EDR, Adsorption, and HTRI, and modeling building, tuning, and integration of models in OTS software and other applications.

  • They will be responsible for simulating all normal operations including hot or cold start-up and complete or partial shutdown operations, attaining Steady State and Dynamic Simulation for various processes, performing detailed Heat and Mass Balance calculations and hydraulic analysis across various process systems, and executing equipment sizing for unit operations such as distillation columns, heat exchangers, evaporators, separators, and pumps.

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline is required, as well as implementation experience in simulation software like Petro-Sim, MIMIC, OmegaLand, UniSim Design, ASPEN HYSYS, DYNSIM, Aspen-Dynamics, Aveva, Promax, or similar.

  • The ideal candidate will have design to commissioning experience on simulation projects including process modeling, DCS integration, OTS, scenario training, model testing, FAT, MAT, PDET (Post data equalisation tests), evaluate engineering documents such as process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, Equipment Data Sheets, C&Es, unit process dynamics to develop simulations of complex processes, and strong knowledge and experience in automation systems in Chemical, Petro-chemical, Oil and Gas, and Pharmaceutical domains.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Implementation experience in simulation software like Petro-Sim, MIMIC, OmegaLand, UniSim Design, ASPEN HYSYS, DYNSIM, Aspen-Dynamics, Aveva, Promax, or similar.
  • Design to Commissioning experience on simulation projects including process modeling, DCS integration, OTS, scenario training, model testing, FAT, MAT, PDET (Post data equalisation tests).
  • Evaluate engineering documents such as process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, Equipment Data Sheets, C&Es, unit process dynamics to develop simulations of complex processes.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in automation systems in Chemical, Petro-chemical, Oil and Gas, and Pharmaceutical domains.
  • Generating documentation such as FDS, DDS, MAT, and FAT procedures.
  • Deep understanding of separation technologies including distillation, extraction, evaporation, chemical reactions, adsorption, pervaporation, etc.
  • Closed-loop control concepts, MVC tuning, APC, and MES.
