Data Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team of experts in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Kafka. They will also possess excellent SQL skills, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries for data validation, transformation, and analytics.

In addition to technical expertise, we require candidates to have hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes, such as Informatica, Talend, and Apache NiFi. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala is also necessary.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing efficient data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage of large-scale data.
  • Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
  • Implementing data quality, governance, and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HDFS, Kafka).
  • Strong expertise in SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, complex joins).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools/processes (Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, Airflow).
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, fact/dimension tables).
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
