Job Title: Data Analyst

 

 

  • Gather project requirements, set up assessments and simulations, deliver reports, including designing scoring and generating results.
  • Collect scores for different tools to maintain databases.
  • Analyze scores to generate industry benchmarks and norms for various markets.
  • Create dashboards using MS Power Apps/Tableau/PowerBI.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders through structured and clear communication. Good team player who collaborates effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Identify innovative ways to improve current execution methods. Operate independently with strong domain knowledge (understanding of primary/secondary research, survey methodology, and client products).
  • Prior experience in operations and project management lines.
  • Manage stakeholders (including status updates on projects/activities, query resolution, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to strict timelines and assure quality of deliverables.
  • Able to multitask to ensure timely completion of activities- problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Contribute to training and capability development for junior analysts in collaboration (classroom trainings, training material development, etc.).
  • Support consulting assignments (including interfacing with external clients).

Key Requirements:

  • Analysts are responsible for stakeholder management (including status updates on projects/activities, query resolution, risk documentation, etc.).
  • Advanced analytical skills to create insights from data.
  • Proficient in MS Office:
    • MS Excel: Text functions (CONCATENATE, TRIM), Math functions (CEILING, RANDBETWEEN), Statistical functions (COUNTA, COUNTIF), Information functions (ISBLANK, ISERROR), Multiple Lookups, Pivot tables, and creating charts.
    • Presentation Tools: Well-versed with basic tool functionalities for creating, editing, and formatting presentations. Able to construct/modify a table in a presentation using an Excel interface.
    • MS PowerPoint: Usage of features like Slide orientation, Transition and timing, PDF conversion, and Backgrounds and layouts.
    • MS Word:- Able to format a table, add a cover page, adjust margins, convert text to a table and back.
  • Knowledge of Statistic functions like mean, median, mode, correlation, variance, standard deviation, and regression.
  • Preferred knowledge of Tableau for data presentation.
  • Business communication skills (email and conference calls) and fluent English language. Able to coherently and confidently communicate thoughts and ideas verbally, non-verbally, and in writing.
  • Flexible, keen on taking initiatives, accountable, have a collaborative approach with fellow colleagues, self-motivator, and go-getter attitude.
  • Adaptable to changing environments (VUCA).
  • Basic knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau and R/Python.

Work Environment:

Small to large project teams and extensive interaction with internal and/or external clients.
