Job Title: Senior Software Security Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Security Specialist to join our team at AJ Consulting. As a Senior Software Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between development, operations, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Integration: Integrate security into the software development process, ensuring that security practices are an integral part of the DevOps pipeline.

2. Code Analysis: Use code scanning and analysis tools to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the codebase. Collaborate with development teams to remediate security issues.

3. Infrastructure as Code: Leverage infrastructure as code tools such as CMake and Ansible to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of our infrastructure.

4. Version Control: Manage and maintain source code repositories using Git, ensuring proper version control and collaboration among development teams.

5. Dependency Management: Utilize Conan and package management to ensure efficient management of project dependencies.

6. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated testing, building, and deployment.

7. Security Monitoring: Implement and maintain security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- 3-5 years of experience in DevSecOps or a related role.

- Strong knowledge of Python and C++ for automation and scripting.

- Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and project management.

- Excellent knowledge of DevOps and security best practices.

- Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation.

- Strong understanding of software development and agile methodologies.

- Good problem-solving and communication skills.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
