Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Getroombookings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and visualization. They will be proficient in using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and have experience with database management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, organize, and maintain data from various sources, including OTAs and internal systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reports and dashboards.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to reservations, revenues, and operational metrics.
- Generate customized reports for management, including performance analysis and trend forecasting.

- Maintain and monitor the Management Information System (MIS) to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and system issues promptly.

- Analyze business performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
- Provide actionable insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and Google Sheets.
- Knowledge of database management and query languages (SQL preferred).
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data handling and reporting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
