Pastry Specialist

As a skilled Poison Control Centers Associate (Pastry), you will play a pivotal role in preparing an array of artisanal pastries and desserts to exacting standards.

This position requires meticulous attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for creating visually stunning presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Menu Item Preparation: Prepare menu items according to recipes and display photos
• Display Setup: Set up pastry displays on buffets as needed
• Inventory Management: Assist with transporting food items from main stores to pastry galley when assigned
• Sanitation and Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize working area and utensils following USPH rules and regulations
• On-Call Duties: Perform early standby duties in pastry galley as required
• Professional Development: Attend meetings, training activities, courses, and other work-related activities as required

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years' experience as a Pastry Cook in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred)
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment
• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency requirement
