Primary Responsibilities:
  • We lead and execute complex projects for converting and migrating clinical data across various electronic medical record (EMR) platforms.
  • In EMR-agnostic environments, our experts design scalable and flexible data conversion solutions that accommodate diverse clinical systems.
  • Key tasks include designing, developing, and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • We handle data from multiple sources including flat files (CSV, TXT), XML, JSON, and other structured/unstructured formats.
  • Legacy data structures are analyzed, and mappings are created to target EMR schemas ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • We collaborate with clinical informatics teams, data analysts, and IT stakeholders to validate data accuracy and completeness.
  • Ongoing efforts ensure adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory standards during data handling and migration.
  • Data anomalies are identified and resolution strategies are provided.
  • Data mapping, conversion logic, and validation processes are thoroughly documented.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in data conversion and migration projects
  • Experience working in EMR-agnostic environments
  • Proficiency in designing and developing SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes
  • Aptitude for handling data from various sources
  • Ability to analyze legacy data structures and create mappings to target EMR schemas
  • Collaborative skills with clinical informatics teams, data analysts, and IT stakeholders
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and other regulatory standards
