Job Opportunity: Accounting Specialist

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accounting specialist with expertise in property management accounting.

This role will focus on financial analysis, reporting, and supporting key operations within our portfolio.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:
    • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for development projects to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
    • Maintain general ledgers and oversee monthly and year-end closing processes.
    • Handle draw accounting, including preparation and tracking of draw requests.
  • Payables & Cash Management:
    • Process and approve payables, wire requests, and ensure timely disbursements to maintain positive cash flow.
    • Run aging reports, monitor outstanding payables, and follow up with vendors to prevent delays.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) Management:
    • Process invoices, review supporting documentation, and ensure proper coding and approvals.
    • Approve payables, set up wire requests, and ensure timely disbursements.
    • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
    • Run aging reports and follow up with vendors for outstanding balances.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) Management:
    • Record rent and other receivables accurately and on time to optimize cash flow.
    • Monitor tenant ledgers, reconcile payments, and follow up on overdue balances.
    • Generate AR aging reports and work with cross-functional teams to reduce delinquencies.
  • Operational Support:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting queries and provide insights for decision-making.
    • Support property-related initiatives and contribute to business growth through effective financial management.
