Arcesium's Front-end Technology Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to join our Front-end Technology team at Arcesium. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge front-end applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop intuitive and user-friendly front-end applications using a combination of UX design and UI frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the product team to understand client needs and build scalable and maintainable front-end solutions.
  • Develop and implement best technical design and practices across the organization.
  • Lead and influence design conversations for scale, performance, and wider adoption of library components.
  • Mentor and upskill junior engineers through blogs, peer reviews, design conversations, and technology stack choices.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in the IT industry.
  • 10+ years of experience in web development technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, CSS, and TDD.
  • Good understanding of UX design, usability, accessibility, analytics, and look and feel consistency.
  • Good understanding of architectural principles, patterns, and web performance.
  • Experience in latest trends, including ES6/7, Node, package management, Webpack, and Babel.
  • Working knowledge of Object-Oriented JavaScript and Functional JavaScript.
  • Having experience or understanding of Material UI design and MobX is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of core web and browser concepts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
