Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Migration Specialist to lead the transformation of on-premises workloads to public cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins pipeline management, with hands-on experience in migrating applications to the cloud.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud migration strategies, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations. Your attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues will ensure successful migrations.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Red Hat Certified Architect or equivalent, Azure Cloud Architect, AWS Cloud Architect, or OCI Cloud Implementation certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a relevant technical position in large organizations.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Led transformation project migration on on-prem workloads to a Public Cloud solution.
  • Terraform and Ansible expert with hands-on experience in migrating application to Cloud.
  • Jenkins pipeline management.
  • GITOPS driven configuration management and deployment.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Cloud adoption model for major cloud services CPU Architectures, Storage and Network connectivity.
  • Knowledge in Windows internals.
  • PUBLIC Cloud Technologies.
  • API communications (Rest/Soap), developing a new consumer/publisher for any API.
  • Infrastructure and how it works.
  • DNS (Authoritative and Non- Authoritative DNS, Dynamic and bind DNS, Forwarder).
  • SSL Communication (Handshake of SSL traffic, Cipher Suites, Enc Algorithms,)
  • Active Directory (Security OUs, policies).
  • Certificates (SAN, client-authentication, keystores, mutual SSL).
  • Load balancers / Site Selectors / Firewall.
  • Vault Tools (CyberArk / Hashicorp).
  • High Availability.
  • Scripting in Groovy, Bash / PowerShell, Python.
  • Repository and Artifact management Tools (Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, Nexus).
  • Container Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • ELK and its beats (Audit beat, File Beat).
  • OS Compliance Policies (CIS Benchmark).
  • Agile methodologies and its ceremonies.
  • Strategic Thinking with Research and Development mindset.
  • Project management methodologies.
