Online Mandolin Instructor Position

We are seeking a skilled and passionate mandolin instructor to provide engaging, personalized lessons to students of varying skill levels.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality online mandolin lessons, designing customized lesson plans based on each student's skill level, goals, and musical interests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach music theory, techniques, scales, chords, picking, and performance skills relevant to the mandolin.
  • Guide students in learning different styles (e.g., classical, folk, bluegrass, jazz, contemporary).
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback and practice exercises.
  • Encourage and motivate students to develop confidence, creativity, and discipline in their practice.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Music Teacher or Professional Mandolin Player.
  • Proficiency in reading sheet music, tabs, and understanding of music theory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students online.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and ages.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree/Diploma in Music or related field (not mandatory but advantageous).
  • Experience teaching in online learning environments.
  • Knowledge of additional string instruments (optional but advantageous).
