GRC Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a GRC Consultant. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), ISO 27001 implementation/audits, and IT audits.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain ISMS frameworks based on ISO 27001 standards.
  • Conduct gap assessments, risk assessments, and internal audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support external ISO 27001 certification and surveillance audits.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation including policies, procedures, Statement of Applicability, risk registers, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance and audit findings.
  • Perform regular IT security audits and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
  • Provide expert advisory services on risk management, compliance, and information security best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security risks and changes in relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in GRC, ISO 27001, ISMS, and IT audit.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 27001 controls, risk assessment methodologies, and audit lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks like NIST, GDPR, SOC 2 is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple client engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer certification is a significant asset.
  • Experience working with GRC tools such as Archer, MetricStream, or similar.
  • Candidates available to start immediately or within 15 days.
  • Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate.
