Structural Steel Detailing Project Lead Position

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Detailer to lead our steel detailing projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tekla Structures, with excellent attention to detail and deep understanding of steel fabrication and erection.

This role involves developing 3D models & shop drawings, preparing anchor bolt plans, GA drawings, CNC outputs, checking and reviewing Tekla models, shop drawings, GA drawings, and erection drawings, leading a team of detailers and modelers on multiple steel projects, ensuring team members follow modeling/drawing standards and project specs, helping resolve RFIs and support communication with external stakeholders, and mentoring junior staff on best practices and Tekla modeling standards.

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required, along with 6+ years of hands-on experience in steel detailing company and minimum 3 years of experience in Steel industry. Expertise in Tekla Structures is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to mentor junior staff are key qualifications for this role.
