Healthcare EDI Tester Role

Job Description:

This role involves validating healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions such as 834, 837, and 847 series. You will work with various tools like AE2, EDIFACTS, and Facets to ensure the accuracy of these transactions.

As a Healthcare EDI Tester, you will analyze requirement documents, create test scenarios and cases, and execute batch jobs to validate data flow across systems.

Log defects in ALM/JIRA and coordinate with development teams for resolution. Collaborate with offshore teams and clients for delivery and defect triage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of hands-on testing experience in QEA Testing, preferably from the healthcare domain.
  • Deep understanding of US healthcare concepts, including claims, enrollment, providers, and billing.
  • Experience with EDI Transactions (834, 837), Facets claims processing, BlueCards, SQL skills, and MS SQL Server and Azure AD.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project delivery.
