Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled software testing specialist to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role offers increased responsibility and leadership in areas such as test automation, advanced testing techniques, and team mentoring.

This position requires strong expertise in software testing methodologies, including test automation, manual testing, and defect management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test cases and scripts to ensure alignment with project goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead test automation efforts using advanced tools and frameworks, driving efficiency and reliability.
  • Manage defects, issues, and inconsistencies using bug tracking tools, providing expert guidance on prioritization and resolution.
  • Execute complex test cases with precision, report test results, and provide actionable feedback to the team.
  • Lead regression testing efforts, ensuring new code changes maintain existing functionality while implementing efficient testing strategies.
  • Verify integration of various software components and systems, ensuring seamless interoperability in complex environments.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, showcasing a strong foundation in testing methodologies and practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, with a proven track record in test automation.
  • Expertise in version control systems (e.g., Git) and their application in software testing workflows.
  • Unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, accompanied by strong documentation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, software engineering, or a related field (or relevant experience).
  • Proficiency in bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and experience in optimizing defect management processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Groovy, with the ability to create custom test automation solutions.
