Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced cloud engineer to join our team. You will work on designing, implementing and managing cloud infrastructure that powers high-traffic platforms across the country.

As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting and maintaining cloud environments, automating deployments and scaling, monitoring infrastructure, managing backups and disaster recovery, implementing security best practices and troubleshooting infrastructure issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting and maintaining cloud environments using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route 53).
  • Automating deployments and scaling using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar tools.
  • Monitoring and optimizing infrastructure performance using Linux administration, networking and security skills.
  • Managing backups, disaster recovery and multi-cloud redundancy to ensure high availability of our platforms.
  • Implementing and enforcing security best practices across all AWS services to protect sensitive data.
  • Collaborating with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and app integrations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer with strong knowledge of AWS services.
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Strong understanding of Linux administration, networking and security principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and optimization skills.
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent real-world experience).
